Connecting Bluetooth keyboard to iPad
The most likely kind of keyboard you’ll connect is Bluetooth. These areconvenient, and perfect for the iPad (which requires a dongle to plug in a USBkeyboard). The pairing process for a Bluetooth keyboard varies from model tomodel, but on the iPad (or iPhone), you will find the keyboard in Settings >Bluetooth. Just put the keyboard into pairing mode, then — when its name showsup in your Bluetooth settings — tap to pair. That’s it. After this initialpairing, the iPad will connect to the keyboard whenever you switch it on, andthe on-screen keyboard will be hidden.
Connecting USB keyboard to iPad

Apple’s Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter doesthe trick. Armed with this adapter, hooking up a USB keyboard to your iPadbecomes dead easy. Just plug the adapter into the iPad, and plug the keyboardinto the adapter. It will be recognized instantly, and you can start typing.(The adapter also has its own Lightning port, so you can power the iPad whileit’s plugged in.)Pro tip: You can plug a USB hub into Apple’s adapter, and then hook up severalUSB devices all at once.
Connecting a Smart Connector keyboard to iPad
This is the easiest way to get started with an external iPad keyboard. Appleand Logitech make several keyboards and keyboard cases that connect to theiPad using the Smart Connector. Power and data flow through this connector,and any connected device is immediately recognized.The downsides are considerable, though: * You can only use the keyboard with a compatible iPad. * Your choice is limited compared to Bluetooth and USB keyboards. * Smart Connector keyboards and cases are expensive compared to other kinds. * The keyboard has to touch the iPad to work. You can’t raise the iPad to eye level on a stand, or remote control it from across the room.
How to Connect a Bluetooth Speaker to an Android Phone
Same as with an iPhone, the process of connecting a Bluetooth speaker to anAndroid device only needs to happen one time. Once a Bluetooth speaker issuccessfully paired to your device, it should automatically connect each timeit is powered on. 1. Open the Settings app. 2. Navigate to Connected devices, and turn on the Bluetooth toggle switch, if it’s not enabled. 3. Select Bluetooth to view the options. 4. Select Pair new device to place the Bluetooth device in pairing mode. 5. Look for the Bluetooth speaker’s name on the list. Be patient as it may take a moment to show up. Make sure the Bluetooth speaker is in pairing mode during this time. 6. Select the speaker’s name to connect to it. It takes a few seconds for the devices to pair. When done, the screen shows that the speaker is connected.
Connect a keyboard and mouse
Pairing up a bluetooth keyboard and mouse with your Android device is easy.Just go to Settings > Bluetooth on your device, then tap Scan for devices andmake sure your bluetooth mouse or keyboard is in pairing mode too.Once these things are connected to your device, Debian automatically detectsthem, and lets you use them.
